NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NDIS Commission)

The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (the Commission) is a regulator established on 1 July 2018 as an independent agency under section 181A of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 (the NDIS Act) to improve the quality and safety of NDIS supports and services. The Commission is the dedicated national regulator of NDIS service providers in Australia.

An exciting new opportunity

The Commission is looking for lawyers with a commitment to exceptional client service to join its outstanding and highly regarded in-house legal team to lead the delivery of legal services in the areas of commercial law and employment/workplace relations law.

The Legal Services Branch is the Commission’s in-house legal team and provides the full range of in-house legal services to support the regulatory and corporate functions of the NDIS Commission. The Legal Services Branch is at the forefront of providing critical support to the Commission to facilitate the transformation of the Commission to becoming a highly effective and contemporary regulator. Accordingly, lawyers in the Branch work on novel and interesting legal and legal policy issues, and directly contribute to the transformation of the Commission and lives of people with disability.
