Our client seeking a US Senior Accountant, internally known as Senior Accountant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate thrives in an intense and fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and attention to detail. SCHEDULE: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time (8:30 PM – 5:30 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Perform the following accounting responsibilities:

  • Develop annual budgets and cash flow forecasts
  • Perform analysis of financial data to identify trends and provide insights to clients
  • Schedule Zoom video chats with clients to discuss financial reports
  • Present financial statements and KPI analysis during monthly and quarterly client meetings
  • Maintain ongoing and positive communication with assigned client
  • Spearhead accounting catch-up/clean-up projects for newly assigned clients

Perform the following delegation/review-related tasks:

  • Manage and delegate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual engagements
  • Perform materially accurate monthly bookkeeping reviews for complex clients
  • Ensure that the accounting team updates client checklists in Karbon weekly
  • Manage and review QuickBooks file clean-ups for newly onboarded clients
  • Train team on new client assignments, when applicable
  • Delegate bookkeeping and accounting tasks to the accounting team as new clients are onboarded
  • Review work performed by the accounting team
  • Review journal entries, adjustments, and monthly reconciliations
  • Review payroll transmission processed by the accounting team
  • Review quarterly payroll tax returns and reconciliations
  • Review complex monthly and quarterly sales taxes
  • Review bills entered in Bill.com by the accounting team
  • Review invoices created by the accounting team

Perform the following administrative/miscellaneous responsibilities:

  • Refer to the company’s core values to assist in solving problems
  • Enter time daily in Karbon
  • Manage calendars to schedule daily and weekly workload
  • Schedule weekly meetings with accounting staff as needed
  • Participate in 1:1 check-in to discuss individual goals, concerns, and growth
  • Attend daily huddles
  • Attend scheduled trainings and workshops

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting is mandatory
  • 4 years of full-cycle accounting experience
  • Must have experience managing multiple (30+) clients
  • Expert with QuickBooks Online
  • Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
  • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
  • Ability to work well under minimal supervision
