Product Application Engineer for Automotive High Power

Infineon Korea is looking forward to working with an expert in high power semiconductors for Automotive at Seoul. This position would play a crucial role as Product Application Engineer for xEV traction inverter system in Automotive High Power Centre. In your new role you will:

• Setup device level test environment including test board & JIG design, and packaging solution for bare die samples
• New device evaluation & pre-characterization
• Power loss and life-time simulation
• Analyze device behaviors by application topologies
• Application support for customer from design-in step to production ramp-up

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Over 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years hands-on experience in power semiconductor development and/or application engineering, especially for IGBTs, SiC MOSFETs and Power Modules (*Priority is given to those who have experienced xEV traction inverter system development.)
• Hands-on experience with bench test equipment such as power supply, oscilloscope, function generator and curve tracer
• Proficient in Spice or equivalent simulation tools
• Must have adequate level of English language proficiency for technical discussion
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or Physics
• Computer literacy in MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
